Earlier today I had a problem mounting a .bin file on my G5. After looking around for 45 minutes I finally came up with a solution. I thought I would share it with anyone that is having the same problem.

Step 1: Install Toast 7 Titanium . Since I’m sure you don’t want to pay $80, you can download a trial.

Step 2: Click “Utilities” -> “Mount Disc Image”

It’s as simple as that!

So I’m reading a book called The Know-It-All by A.J. Jacobs. There was an interesting story that I learned while reading the book last night. The story is about how the city of Cleveland, Ohio got the name.

There was a man named Moses Cleaveland, who was an employee of the Connecticut Land Company. His job was to speed up the sale of the land in Ohio. They ended up naming the town Cleaveland.

36 years later (in 1832) the “a” was dropped and “Cleaveland” became “Cleveland”. Why was the a dropped? Simply because the word “Cleveland” fit better on a newspaper masthead. How ridiculous is that? The man had his family name chopped up for the sole purpose of fitting it onto a newspaper. That sucks.

So I’ve decided to switch from my homemade blog setup on NickONeill.com to a CMS like system. I have opted for Textpattern . One of my co-workers mentioned the CMS and I decided to try it out. Ultimately I think Wordpress may have been a better alternative, but either way it’s not too bad. The only problem that I have with the system is that I can’t seem to figure out how I can have multiple templates and switch between them. If there is anyone on earth that know how to do this please feel free to contact me. Thanks!
